IMPORTANT NOTE

The firewall requirements on Neat Bar and Neat Pad differ depending on the firmware versions running on these devices. Until April 2020, Neat software versions required multiple network resources to be accessible for the initial configuration process. After April 2020, Neat simplified its network requirements. When Neat devices are shipped out from manufacturing locations, some may be running pre-April 2020 firmware.

For post-April 2020 releases, the network and firewall requirements are listed in this article: Network and Firewall Requirements for Neat devices.
If you however suspect that your device is running pre-April 2020 release (e.g your new device is not able to connect to network despite opening the necessary firewall ports), please reach out to support@neat.no for more information on network and firewall requirements.

All Neat devices will upgrade to the latest software version once connected to the network (unless you have deliberately disabled automatic upgrades).

All Neat Boards were manufactured after April 2020 and therefore will be running post-April 2020 release.
