1. Check Neat OS firmware version

To check the version of Neat OS firmware running on your device, you can use one of the following methods:

  • In Neat Pulse, click on the device image to open the device settings page and scroll down to where it shows the Neat OS channel and version number currently running, e.g. 25.3.0. It will also indicate if the version is up-to-date.
  • On your device, go to System Settings → System → About to find the firmware version and serial number. (Zoom Rooms only: depending on the device, you may need to enter the Room’s passcode*.) The Neat firmware version will be displayed in a format similar to this example: “NFF1.20250528.0019”. The device will indicate if the version is out-of-date and, if so, give the option to update.
Note that for Pad and Bar the Neat firmware versions are called “Controller Firmware Version” for the Pad and “Zoom Rooms Firmware Version” for the Bar.
  • Check the Zoom Room administrator portal or the Teams Admin Center (TAC) online to see the serial number and firmware version of your Neat devices.

*Note: The room passcode is configured in the Zoom portal. To access it, login to Zoom portal using Administrator’s account and navigate to Room management -> Zoom Rooms-> find your Zoom room and click Edit next to its name -> Rooms profile and search for ‘Room Passcode’. By default, this is set to 00000.

2. Check platform software version

To check the version of video conferencing platform software running on your Neat device, you can use one of the following methods:

2.1 Zoom Rooms

  • On your device, select Settings (lower corner) on your Neat Pad, Neat Board, or Neat Frame, then select About. The Zoom software version number will be displayed on the “App Version” line of the screen (e.g. “6.5.6 (7832)”).
  • In Neat Pulse, click on the device image to open the device settings page and scroll down to where it shows Zoom Rooms channel and version number currently running, e.g. 6.5.6.7832. It will also indicate if the version is up to date.

2.2 Microsoft Teams

  • On your device, select More on the main screen, then go to Settings → About to view the Microsoft Teams software version.
  • In Neat Pulse, click on the device image to open the device settings page and scroll down to where it shows the Microsoft Teams channel and version number currently running. It will also indicate if the version is up to date.
