Can I use an iPad or Android tablet as an additional controller for my Neat Bar Pro?
Yes, you can, but we wouldn’t recommend it. We’ve designed and tested Neat devices to work in harmony with each other so that they provide a rich collaboration experience that works every time.
Can Neat Bar Pro connect to more than just one Neat Pad?
You can connect additional Neat Pad devices to Neat Bar Pro and use them as multiple controllers in your meeting space or as schedulers for various entrances.

Neat Bar Pro empowers you to reliably share content wirelessly every time, eliminating the need for cables and dongle sharing. Additionally, Neat Bar Pro has an HDMI-in port to support 1080p content sharing.

What are Neat Bar Pro’s microphone range and audio capability?

Neat Bar Pro leverages our hardware-optimized Neat Audio Processing, a set of advanced audio algorithms that optimize the natural reproduction of speech throughout your meeting room, ensuring crystal clear vocal pick up. Neat Audio Processing removes any ‘double talk’ issues, where a person’s voice becomes garbled or muted by others talking over them or by any background noise, making conversations sound more fluid.

Will USB Passthrough be supported on the Neat devices?
USB Mode is currently supported on the Neat Bar, Neat Bar Pro, and the Neat Board. This feature requires an HDMI cable from HDMI Ingest port and a USB-C cable from the back of the Neat device to be connected to a computer. The Pad will then show a limited interface to allow control of the camera (volume and microphone mute will follow later).

My screen doesn’t show all participants in my Zoom meeting. What can be wrong?
You can change your video layout by clicking on the ‘Change View’ option shown on your Neat Pad Zoom Room Controller. The options are ‘Speaker’, ‘Gallery’ or ‘Thumbnail’. If you would like to see multiple participants, you can choose the Gallery view.
However, if this is not working as expected, it is possible you have your TV screen connected to the incorrect HDMI port of your Neat Bar. Please ensure that when using a single TV screen, you are connected to the HDMI 1 port of your Neat Bar to your TV monitor. If you have a second screen, you can use HDMI 2 port of your Neat Bar.
The HDMI content is shared at the start of my Zoom meeting automatically, how can I turn this off?
Go to the Zoom administrator page and navigate to ‘Rooms’. Once you have chosen your specific room to edit, you can find the option ‘Start HDMI content share manually on controller’. Enable this setting to prevent automatic sharing of content in the meeting.
Is there a standard display recommended for Neat Bar?
Neat can use any standard flat panel display with HDMI input and a 1080p resolution (16:9 aspect ratio) or higher. In general, thinner displays with standard VESA mounting attachment points are most compatible with our mounting hardware.
What is Neat Bar Pro?
Neat Bar Pro packs a stack of technology into a simple and elegant slimline device. It supports up to three screens of any size, enabling you to see people and content together more clearly. Simultaneously, its uncompromising audio and video quality give you an incredibly immersive, natural meeting experience throughout any size meeting space.
What makes Neat Bar Pro different from Neat Bar?
Neat Bar Pro offers the same delights as Neat Bar, such as an amazing out of the box experience, Neat Symmetry and Neat Sense, but is even more powerful as it has a Pro 100 MP camera system with wide and tele cameras, and image depth sensor. It also has a 16x pyramid mic array, subwoofer with two opposing drivers for vibration cancellation and three full-range speakers, which produce direct stereo sound throughout any room size. Neat Bar Pro can support from one to three screens, making it compatible with small, medium or large spaces, and will be audio extensible using industry standard IP-based audio standard. That way, you can integrate it with existing installations.
What room sizes suit Neat Bar Pro best?
You can install Neat Bar Pro into any size meeting room, but, thanks to it’s far-reaching audio and camera capabilities, it is well suited for larger rooms of up to 25 to 30 participants. Our recommendations are the rooms to be around 33 feet or 10m with good acoustic properties.

Neat Bar Pro ships with a wall mount, screen mount and table stand so it’s easy for anyone to install and set up, above or below one, two or even three screens. See mounting options here.

What operating system runs on Neat devices?
All Neat devices run NeatOS which is based on an Android operating system. This is hardened and secure firmware locked to work with native applications, such as Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams.
Note that Neat Center runs NeatOS and has the same secure network and software capabilities as all Neat devices. However, it doesn’t directly support native applications and works as an extension to another Neat device as main device.
For more information about the Neat operating system, see the article NeatOS: A Secure and Reliable Meeting Platform.
What type of environmental sensors are in Neat Devices and how do I view their data?
Neat devices come with built-in sensors for temperature, humidity, air quality (TVOC + estimated CO₂ equivalent), ambient light, and people count. For a detailed overview of which sensors are available on each Neat device, please see the following article: Neat Sense and Sensor Data Overview.
