How to Manage and Configure Devices in Neat Pulse
Last updated on November 27, 2025
Devices can be managed in Neat Pulse from the Devices page. From here you can see what devices belong to which spaces, view device status at a glance, and perform bulk actions.
Contents
- 1. Accessing the Devices page
- 2. Devices, spaces, and locations
- 3. Editable Pulse settings
- 4. Selecting multiple devices
1. Accessing the Devices page
To see the Devices page, click on Devices on the top left-hand side of the screen. Your user type will determine what you can see. For example, an owner can view all devices that are enrolled in an account, whilst an admin can only view the devices assigned to locations within their region.
For full details on Users and their permissions, see the article Manage Users and Roles in Neat Pulse.

The device status (e.g. offline, updating etc.) is displayed next to the image of the device in Neat Pulse.

2. Devices, spaces, and locations
Within Neat Pulse, devices are grouped into Spaces. A space is a way to organize and group your Neat devices based on where they are physically or how they are used.
- A space might represent a real-world space, such as “Conference Room A” or “Huddle Room 2”.
- It can contain one or more Neat devices. For example, a Neat Bar and a Neat Pad paired together. Note that Neat devices paired together at the firmware level will automatically be a part of the same space.
- Each space can have its own settings, or you can group multiple spaces to share the same settings by assigning them a common Profile. You can also organize spaces by Region or Location to make them easier to manage within your account.
For more information on:
- Creating and applying profiles, see the article How to Create and Apply Profiles in Neat Pulse
- Locations, see the article Manage Your Settings in Neat Pulse.
2.1 Space Settings
Click on the name of your space to display an overview where you can see what devices are in that space along with some additional diagnostics and actions you can take (see Figure 3).

The name and location of the space can be edited in the top left corner. To assign a space to a location, open the space settings (above your space name) and click the location drop-down menu where you can add or remove an existing location, or create a new location for that space (see Figure 4).

Select the “Room notes” icon to open a text box (see Figure 5) where you can add important notes about the space. You can also generate an enrollment code to add new devices to this space or delete the space from your account.

You can assign settings profiles, check for updates, and restart devices from this area of the space menu (see Figure 6). Note that any changes will affect all devices within the space.

From here you can:
- Configure Neat-level device settings
- Assign a settings profile
- Restart the devices
- Click the ellipses (…) for more options (see Figure 7) to:
- Open a support ticket
- Export info (CSV) for the devices in that space
- Move devices in this space to another space
- Remove the space from your account. Note that removing the space from your account will unenroll all of the devices that are in the space.

For more information on:
- Creating and applying profiles, see the article How to Create and Apply Profiles in Neat Pulse
- Opening a support ticket and downloading logs, see the article How to Download Logs.
2.2 Device settings
To see your device settings menu options (Figure 8), click on the device image either from the Devices page or your space settings.

From here you can:
- Configure Neat-level device settings
- Assign a settings profile
- Start a remote control session for the device
- Restart the device
- Click the ellipses (…) for more options to:
- Open a support ticket
- Export info (CSV) for the device
- Move the device to another space
- Remove the device from your account. Note that removing the device from your account will permanently unenroll the device.
For more information on:
- Opening a support ticket and downloading logs, see the article How to Download Logs
- Using remote control for troubleshooting, see the article How to Use Remote Control in Neat Pulse
If a setting is already controlled by a settings profile, that setting will have a profile icon next to it and be greyed out (see Figure 9) and you will not be allowed to edit its configuration.
