1. Introduction
This document describes the new features, improvements and known issues in the first official release of the newly introduced Neat Frame. The release is known as version 20220211 and applies to the Neat Frame.
If you have an existing Neat Frame (e.g. you have been part of early field trials) or you are setting up your brand new Neat Frame, as long as your device was up and running on the network after 12:00pm Central European Time (6am US Eastern/3am US Pacific), on February 23, it would have downloaded the new software version. For new installs, the upgrade will be applied during the initial ‘out-of-box’ phase, while for existing setups, the upgrade will be applied at 2am local time the following day.
Note: This release also applies to your existing Neat Bars, Neat Boards and Neat Pads. Please see the release notes for Bars, Boards and Pads here: https://support.neat.no/article/neat-devices-version-20220211-release-notes/
2. Introducing the Neat Frame
Neat Frame is the new, all-in-one personal videoconferencing device from Neat. Like all Neat products, everything is contained in one sleek design – camera, microphones, speaker, and the compute to host and run conferencing applications (Zoom Rooms supported now, Microsoft Teams Rooms in the future). It can be used in a wide range of applications – home offices, personal offices, hot desks, small focus rooms for one to three people, or as a virtual kiosk in public spaces like reception areas or work lounges.
Neat Frame’s 15” touchscreen allows for call control as well as collaboration and digital whiteboard functionality. The camera supports Neat’s innovative video features, like adaptive auto-framing and Neat Symmetry. Neat Frame’s microphones and speakers include noise reduction, echo cancellation, and deep noise suppression – a Neat feature that filters out annoying noises that might disrupt a call (loud typing, paper rustling, etc). It also supports wired headsets (via 3.5mm jack), and in the future will also support Bluetooth headsets.

Neat Firmware Version: Click on the Settings button on the lower right corner of the Neat Frame. Then click on ‘General’ and on the right, you’ll see the meeting room name displayed.
